I joined Behance, the world’s leading platform to showcase and discover creative work, in 2009 to kickoff their Community Management department. What traditional companies call Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Customer Service, and Evangelism all come together as Community Management at Behance. Basically - a focus on empowering members to create their best work. My team launched Behance Portfolio Review Week, an offline program that now includes over 400 events/year around the world, all planned by and for Behance members.
I moved to New York at 18 and studied Film Theory at Barnard College, where I worked on projects inspired by everything from Death Penalty protests to the photographer Diane Arbus.
